Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego is looking for local schools, non-profits, and local pools to collaborate in providing swim lessons and water safety programs in areas throughout San Diego county, targeting those individuals who have limited access to gaining the life-saving skill of swimming. Spring 2024 – Deadline for priority consideration is Dec 1, 2023 / Interviews in Dec 2023 / Award announcements to follow in early January 2024
Summer 2024 – Deadline for priority consideration is May 1, 2024 / Interviews in May 2024 / Award announcements to follow in early June 2024
Criteria**
Swim lessons for 3,4,5,7, and 9th grades with programs continuing to evolve toward self-funding. (no transportation funding)
