Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego is looking for local schools, non-profits, and local pools to collaborate in providing swim lessons and water safety programs in areas throughout San Diego county, targeting those individuals who have limited access to gaining the life-saving skill of swimming. Application Deadline Schedule
Spring 2025 – Deadline December 1, 2024 / Interviews in December / Award announcements to follow in early January 2025
Summer 2025 – Deadline May 1, 2025 / Interviews in May / Award announcements to follow in June 2025
Criteria**
Swim lessons for 3,4,5,7, and 9th grades with programs continuing to evolve toward self-funding. (no transportation funding)
